Data covered and retention periods
- Account data: while the account exists; deleted when you ask us to delete the account.
- Order records: as long as accounting and tax rules require.
- Personalised-service data (answers, reports, lab tests and plans): 180 days after the request is completed or cancelled.
- Server security logs: a short period, for protection only.
How data is deleted
A daily job on the server deletes health data and the related files automatically when their period ends; deleted files can no longer be downloaded.
Requesting early deletion
You can ask for your data to be deleted earlier by writing to [email protected] from the e-mail registered on your account, unless the law requires us to keep part of it.
Backups
Data may remain in protected server backups for a limited time until those backups are replaced.
